The Cheticamp Economic Council is a non-profit that focuses on beautification, infrastructure and is always thinking of positive possibilities for the community of Cheticamp. It is all possible because of its small but mighty team.
The Cheticamp Economic Councils takes care of its two major properties, Le Quai Mathieu and Le Parc des Pecheurs, which are both a community hub that attract many tourists and locals throughout the year.

Fun Fact
The Chéticamp area started out as a summer fishing station in the mid-18th century. It was later permanently settled in 1785 by 14 original Acadian settlers when they were granted lands in the area.
